Today’s episode is dedicated to Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
This is not an easy book to talk about—but it is an essential one. Published posthumously in October 2025, Nobody’s Girl is Virginia’s unflinching account of her childhood abuse, her exploitation at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and her courageous fight to bring powerful abusers to justice.

Virginia Giuffre’s memoir, co-written with journalist Amy Wallace, is both harrowing and inspiring

Virginia insisted her story be published no matter what happened to her. Tragically, she died by suicide in April 2025 at age 41, leaving behind her husband, three children, and a legacy of advocacy

Virginia’s story changed the world. Her photograph with Prince Andrew became a symbol of accountability. Her testimony helped send Epstein and Maxwell to prison. And her memoir ensures that her truth cannot be erased

For survivors, Nobody’s Girl is a reminder: you are not alone, your story matters, and justice is worth fighting for. For the rest of us, it’s a challenge: will we stand with survivors, or will we look away?

Reading Nobody’s Girl is painful, but it’s also profoundly moving. Virginia Roberts Giuffre gave us her truth, and in doing so, she gave survivors everywhere a piece of hope.
If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to pick up the book, reflect on its lessons, and consider how you can support survivor-led organizations in your own community.
